Service contract for Prototype of the ‘Cancer Survivor Smart Card’

The National Focal Point EU4Health is a project of the German Federal Ministry of Health (BMG). The EU4Health National Focal Point in Germany is providing information on the EU health program EU4Health since March 1, 2022.

The European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), acting under the powers delegated by the European Commission, is launching the present invitation to tender for the conclusion of a service contract.

The scope of this call is to design, develop, pilot and deliver the web IT tool of the prototype (mock-up) version of the ‘Cancer Survivor Smart Card’, to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors, including children and young adults.

The working product will be open source and provide support for

  1. accessing resources to be used by cancer survivors
  2. enable the secure sharing of personal health data related to their condition and disease with their carers.

The prototype (mock-up) of the ‘Cancer Survivor Smart Card’ will be the first step in the development of a final version of the ‘Cancer Survivor Smart Card’, which will help improve the quality of life for cancer survivors.

The tenderer must demonstrate the ability to provide a core team experienced in project management, in the development and maintenance of IT systems, in Client Support Management and in EU Data Protection for the delivery of high-quality stakeholder and customer support and engagement, both to or-ganisations/institutions and to individuals.

The services, which are the subject of this call for tender, are part of the policy objectives of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan in the area of improving the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors and carers, including the reduction of inequalities in cancer care and childhood cancers.

 

Must-Have‘s:

  • Average yearly turnover of the last two financial years above € 2.000.000.
  • At least one similar (in scope and complexity) project completed in the last three years preceding the tender submission deadline, with a minimum value of € 2.000.000.
  • An experienced core team
